Fudbal

Fudbal, commonly referred to as soccer or football in many regions, is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each. The objective of the game is to score goals by getting a ball into the opposing team’s net. Players predominantly use their feet to kick the ball, but they can also use their bodies, except for the goalkeepers who are allowed to use their hands within the penalty area.

Fudbal is governed by specific rules known as the Laws of the Game, established by the International Football Association Board (IFAB). It is played on a rectangular field, known as a pitch, with a goal at each end. The sport is characterized by its emphasis on teamwork, strategy, and skill, making it one of the most popular and widely played sports around the world.

Fudbal’s popularity transcends cultural and national boundaries, uniting diverse populations through passionate support for teams and players, especially during international competitions like the FIFA World Cup. The sport also plays a significant role in physical education, community engagement, and social integration across various societies.
