Environmental Law

Environmental Law is a body of regulations, treaties, statutes, and common law that governs the interactions between human activities and the natural environment. Its primary aim is to protect the environment, public health, and natural resources from harmful impacts caused by pollution, resource exploitation, and land use. Environmental law encompasses a wide range of areas, including air and water quality, waste management, biodiversity conservation, climate change, and sustainable development. It provides the framework for government agencies, organizations, and individuals to ensure that environmental considerations are integrated into decision-making processes and that environmental rights are upheld. This legal field includes international agreements, national legislations, and local ordinances, facilitating cooperation between different levels of government and the private sector to address environmental challenges.
